Alistair Pate was born in Dundee in 1943 and qualified as a Scottish Chartered Accountant in 1967 after receiving an MA in Economics from Christ’s College Cambridge.
Alistair enjoyed a career in finance and general management in the chemical, oil and gas industries on three continents. He is now retired and living in Surrey with wife Irene and two grown-up children.
